Music can be so emotive. The melodies can take you back to a time, a place, a happening, a memory. Sometimes, they are just sheer genious. You wonder how it could capture your heart so personally. A powerful voice is a very precious thing. It can give comfort to people in all situations. Who can fail to be moved by the might of charity records; Band Aid-Feed the world for example.

Written from the heart highly recommends “A hundred thousand angels” by Bliss. The purity of Lucinda Drayton’s voice is amazing. I have only recently become aware of this song. My dear sister knew I’d like it. We posted a link through Facebook. Now that the web site is live, here is the link for you.

Written from the heart highly recommends Two Hearts by Phil Collins
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SidxJz94Svs This song was around 22 years ago – and it reminds me of the time my premature baby daughter was born, 15 weeks early. We’d lost my dad, he never saw his granddaughter. He let go and she joined the world. One heart for him and one for this new life. Mum loved it and the song will always have special significance for us all.
